“The Enough is Enough campaign is a national effort to draw attention to the problem of violence in society in general and also on college and university campuses —the very places our students should feel most safe. Campuses across the nation will be presenting programs encouraging students to speak out, engage in dialogue, and take action to promote peace and civility in their commitment to violence prevention, safety, and community building.”

Statistics:

• Females who are 20-24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence
• One in every four women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime
• Boy who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to abuse their own partners and children when they become adults.
• On average, more than three women a day are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in the United States. Each year, intimate partner violence (IPV) results in an estimated 1,200 deaths. 
• 1 in 12 women and 1 in 45 men have been stalked in their lifetime. 

These pictures are from UCLA’s Enough is Enough Campaign against domestic/dating violence and stalking. We passed our balloons and t-shirts to raise awareness, and had students sign a non-violence pledge.
